The posture imitation game consists of beautiful, uniquely illustrated cards so that each child can identify with the characters.  Children learn through movement.  To kinaesthetically imitate a posture forms an important foundation for the development of spatial skills.  It is important for a child to experience his own body, what is seen and perceived with his eyes.  This also underlies the development of visual-motor integration which in turn is necessary for copying at school.  When the postures are copied with sticks, fine motor skills develop as well as figure ground, planning and so much more.
