This game has been in existence since the 1960’s and resurfaced again with good reason in the year 2000.  School related skills already starts developing before a child can learn to read and write.  The development of pre-writing and pre-reading skills in our brains, follow a very specific pattern.  We need to perceive on a three-dimensional level first (which means basic, concrete and practical) before we can move on to perceiving on a two-dimensional and later on a school related level.

This is the reason why we need to expose our children to this type of educational game.  At times it may even be necessary to revisit this three-dimensional phase when a child finds it challenging to perceive spatial orientation on a two-dimensional or school related level.  Does your child still reverse letters or numbers?
